Brief info
Prior to joining Continent Assets Management, Andrew was introduced to real estate development through his education at the University of Southern California, where he received his B.S. Civil Engineering Building Science and M.S. Construction Engineering and Management. He quickly grew recognition while working as a project engineer and a junior superintendent at R.D. Olson Construction, where he also grew a passion for building and development. Andrew worked closely with several notable clients including Sunstone Hotel and Merlin Entertainment to successfully deliver projects ranging from conceptual cost estimates to hotel property improvement plans (PIP) and ground-up hotel construction. As project manager of the Seabiscuit Pacifica development project (currently Le Meriden Arcadia-Pasadena), Andrew completed a spot zoning change through a specific plan and an initial study to attain entitlements for a project that included two new ground-up hotels (Marriott Residence Inn and Fairfield Inn & Suites) totaling 210 rooms and a new eight-story, 50-unit ground-up condo building.
More recently, Andrew has also managed several projects throughout the west coast in different development stages for Crescent Heights, one of the nation’s leading real estate development and ownership firms specializing in major urban infill projects. His range of responsibilities involved oversight of each development’s budget and schedule, pre-construction services, management of major capital expenditures, material procurement, and construction management.
Notable project deliveries include Jasper ($130M, 320-units, multifamily), Ten Thousand ($210M, 283-units, multifamily), Legoland California Hotel (250-key, fully-themed, 3-story, hotel).
